Ex-head of VR has been implicated in the scandal surrounding the Russian company
British oil company BP and its former head, Lord Browne (Browne), together with the Russian TNK-BP were mentioned in the lawsuit the American company RSM Production Corporation associated with the attempted bribery of officials in Grenada. This was reported in the Sunday edition of The Times newspaper.
Among the defendants in the suit had previously been named as a co-holder of Alfa-Group Mikhail Fridman.
Recall RSM Production Corp. filed in November 2006 suit in the Southern District Court of New York against Russian businessman Mikhail Friedman and Leo sits, as well as the Prime Minister of Grenada, Gregory Bowen (Gregory Bowen), alleging that Friedman and Blavatnik bribed the then Minister of Agriculture Bowen, to prevent the issuance of licenses to Americans.
TNK half belongs to the British BP, another 25 per cent is owned by Alfa Group, a company Renova Viktor Vekselberg and Access Industries Leonard Blavatnik belongs to 12.5 per cent each.
RSM Production Corporation is a holding company Greenberg Petroleum. |
