Police arrested 13 participants in anti-war demonstrations in front of the United States Internal Revenue Service building in Washington. A total of protests against the war in Iraq, devoted to the fifth anniversary of the military operation, was attended by more than a hundred people, AP reported.
The demonstrators gathered in front of the building and the Internal Revenue Service began chanted slogans: "This is a crime scene and you do not arestovyvaete those." The protesters tried to block the entrance to the tax office. Soon, the police managed to drive away anti-war activists.
Participants in the protest explained that the Internal Revenue Service building chosen reasons that the war in Iraq is in the taxpayers' money. That is, in fact, the tax agency is funding a military operation, believed opponents of war in Iraq. |
